Kate Pinson established Hunter Mews Designs in Alexandria, Virginia after many years of travel and design experience abroad. Schooled in both Virginia and in London, England in Art, Architecture and Design, Kate’s passions and creativity have produced countless projects in England, France, Pakistan, China and here in the United States. Her attention to detail and her ability to marry eclecticism and traditional, classic design in fresh new ways has earned her many accolades. Her own home, currently in Olde Towne Alexandria, earned First Place in the 2004 Alexandria Residential Design competition and has been featured in Chesapeake Home magazine, just previous to the Alexandria Holiday Open House, which featured her home on the tour. She is a member of the Alexandria chapter of the American Horticultural Association and stays involved in many community events.
She continues to travel overseas for inspiration and education, and enjoys looking for unique finds, especially in Europe, for her clients. Her list of contacts and resources in the northern Virginia area is extensive. She is a member of The Interior Design Society. |
